The Day Is Coming

For so long, our wedding day existed as a collection of ideas, conversations, and little notes scattered between us. Now, with each passing week, those plans are becoming real, and the day we have imagined for so long suddenly feels wonderfully close.

The invitations are taking shape, the music has been chosen, and the places where we will exchange our vows and celebrate with everyone we love are no longer just names on a list. We can picture the doors opening, the first familiar faces arriving, and the moment we finally see each other at the ceremony.

There is still plenty to do, of course. There are decisions to make, details to confirm, and lists that somehow keep growing just when we think they are finished. But somewhere between choosing flowers, planning the evening, and practicing our first dance in the living room, we have learned to enjoy this season for what it is: the beginning of something we will remember forever.

What excites us most is not whether every detail unfolds exactly as planned. It is the thought of having our favorite people together in one place—some traveling from far away, others who have been beside us from the very beginning—all sharing in a day that means so much to us.

We know the hours will pass quickly. The ceremony will become a memory, the music will eventually stop, and the last dance will come sooner than we expect. So our promise to each other is to slow down, look around, and take it all in.

The day is coming, and with it, the start of our greatest chapter yet. We cannot wait to celebrate it with you.
